Norbin Wines

Slovenian Istria, Hrvatini. Gašper has been into wines for over a decade, but most people don't know him yet. But for all of us who were fortunate enough to try his wine, we can only say, "Where were you this long?"

He comes from a family in which no one was serious about winemaking. Gašper is a simple, measured, and graceful man - and usually, wines take after their master. In this case, his wines are just as noble and graceful, but also playful.

Gašper works a little over 1.5 hectares of vineyards at (for coast standards) a pretty high altitude of 360 m. The vineyards are located in ZABAVLJE - Šavrin Hills in the hinterland of the largest Slovenian coast city of Koper. The ground in this area consists of flysch and marl. Gašper dedicated himself to one of the most popular and known wine varieties, Malvasia. The vines he cultivates are 25 to 55 years old. Regarding processing and handling in the vineyard, Gašper sticks to natural principles (less is more), so the sprays and other preparations are exclusively natural.
